Architecture for Humanity New York’s Hurricane Sandy recovery team will be having a second training session this Wednesday, November 28th from 7PM-8PM at the Center For Architecture (536 Laguardia Place).
The goal of the meeting is to train dedicated volunteers to be ready to visit hard-hit neighborhoods the weekend of December 1st and 2nd to gather information from residents who were affected by the storm. The project teams will be divided up to visit Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. The goal of the training session is to formulate teams of volunteers who can commit to completing a field survey with their team the following weekend.
