Current Director: Rachel Starobinsky
Rachel Starobinsky is a multi-disciplinary Strategist based out of New York City.
As a global thinker with a background in design & business, she has effectively applied creative and analytical problem-solving skills across many different industries including that of design & architecture. Her comprehension of the design and business worlds, industry trends, and technology supports her innovative approach to connecting dots that often lead to unexpected & innovative opportunities for clients.
She graduated with her BFA from NY School of Interior Design in 2007, and completed her MPS in Design Management from Pratt Institute in 2011. As volunteer with the chapter since 2010, she has worked as a volunteer in the Design DEYS Program, and has served as the Director of Outreach & Advocacy for the 2011-2013 term.
As the Managing Director, she hopes to provide the New York chapter with new opportunities to continue the design services that we provide across the city, and to elevate the chapter to new heights by tapping into our most valuable resource, our volunteers.
The Managing Director is responsible for both the day-to-day running of the organization and for developing plans for the future of the organization.
