IMPORTANT: Please be sure to notate "New York Chapter" in the Designation field to be sure the funds are directed to us.


 

4 WAYS TO SUPPORT US (besides volunteering)

1) Cash Donations
Since volunteering often requires commitments that you cannot make, you can still be a vital part of Architecture for Humanity New York by donating money to support our projects and operations. Our chapter is entirely volunteer-operated, and we rely on the generosity of our donors to sustain our work.
 

2) Sponsorships
You can sponsor specific needs of our chapter, including projects, monthly Chapter Meetings, or our general operations. We can include credit for you or your business to acknowledge your support.
 

3) In-kind Donations of Materials and Supplies
We are always in need of design materials, general office supplies, and construction and landscaping tools that help keep our chapter and services operating.
 

4) In-kind Donations for Events
We host meetings and events throughout the year to bring our project teams together, raise awareness of our work, and show appreciation to our supporters. This requires space, food, beverages, promotional materials, and items to be raffled or auctioned.
 

5) Social Networks
If there is a project we're working on that you feel particularly passionate about, reach out to your social networks to help us broaden awareness add to your contribution.


 

5 BENEFITS OF DONATING

1) Tax Deductions
Volunteering time and services are not eligible to receive tax benefits from the IRS, but donations are! All donations are eligible for tax-exemption through Architecture for Humanity's 501(c)3 IRS designation. We can provide you with records of your donation for tax reporting.
 

2) Donation Matching
Many employers match the donations of their employees' charitable contributions. We can provide you with the necessary documentation that will easily amplify the impact of your donations to us.
 

3) Become a Community Builder
Become a vested partner in the cultivation of our growth by joining a small group of strategic thinkers and doers who underwrite our projects and vital operations. By supporting our chapter as a Community Builder for a three-year period, you will share in our successes and be recognized for your support in creating a positive change in your community.
 

4) Personal Fulfillment
Donating to a worthy cause is a great feeling and, while it may seem obvious, personal fulfillment and happiness are important personal benefits of donating to a cause you believe in.
